Privacy Policy
Puggers (operating as “Puggers” at puggers.gg) is a fan-made Mythic+ LFG tool for World of Warcraft. This page describes what data we hold about you, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights over it.
What we collect
When you sign in we store your Discord user ID, username, and avatar URL. If you link Battle.net we additionally store your BattleTag and the World of Warcraft characters attached to your account (name, realm, region, class, spec, item level, and Raider.IO score). Posting or applying to a group creates rows that include your user ID and the choices you made. Favorites you issue and players you blacklist live in tables visible only to you.
How we use it
The data above is used to authenticate you, display your groups and applications, send the Discord notifications you've opted into in your settings, and compute the public reputation tier shown next to your character on listings. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Third-party processors
Hosting runs on Vercel. The database is Supabase (Postgres). Authentication flows through Discord and Battle.net OAuth. Live character data is read from the public Raider.IO API. Each of these processes the minimum data required to perform its function.
Your rights
You can export every row we hold about you as a JSON blob, or permanently delete your account, from /me/settings. Account deletion is irreversible and runs immediately. Favorites you've issued become anonymous so the public reputation tiers of other puggers don't retroactively change.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Puggers. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact privacy@puggers.gg and we will delete the account.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for 30 days after you request deletion (during which time you can email us to reverse the request). Completed-run records remain visible in others' histories after your deletion but no longer reference your identity — favorites you issued become anonymous and your character names are stripped from group_pickups. Discord notification logs are not retained beyond delivery attempts.
Reputation system specifics
The aggregate count of how many leaders have favorited your account from a completed run is public. The individual favorites and blacklists are private to the issuing user. You cannot remove a favorite issued by someone else (the same way you cannot force someone to like or unlike you in real life), but you can request the count be excluded from your public tier via privacy@puggers.gg.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be announced in our Discord server and via the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Puggers after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Contact
Privacy questions, data correction requests, GDPR / CCPA inquiries, and processor-of-record questions go to privacy@puggers.gg. Other channels are listed on the contact page.
